The Catholic Community of Sumter Planning Committee provides advice and assistance to the Parish priests - and in turn the Bishop of Charleston - by planning, managing and coordinating the total project to develop a single parish site on Hwy 521.
Action Committee
James Field, Chairman
The Action Committee coordinates with the architects and supervises the realtors. Further, it advises on overall design issues of the new facilities.
One Faith - One Family Capital Campaign Committee

The Capital Campaign Committee oversees the capital campaign for Phase II of the construction of the new facilities.
Capital Campaign Follow-up Committee

The Capital Campaign Follow-up Committee follows up on the pledges made, and provides advice on the investment of the funds received.
Education Committee

The Education Committee provides the planning for short and long term maintenance and development of a grade K4 through 12 Catholic school on Hwy 521 site, through the planning and construction of the new facilitie. The direction of the Education Committee is guided largely by the results of the parishioner education survey, which can be viewed here: Catholic Education Survey
Land Use Committee

The Land Use Committee supervises and coordinates the use and the income production activities at the Hwy 521 property.
Communications, Newsletter & Website Committee
Iva Jean de Oliveira, Chairman
The Communications, Newsletter & WebSite Committee works with the priests and the Webmaster to maintain an up-to-date website to inform the community of the One Faith One Family campaign. It also coordinates other efforts to keep the parishioners of the Catholic Community of Sumter informed of progress in the on-going project of developing a new parish home at Hwy 521.
